Zonta Club of Marietta

The Zonta Club of Marietta chooses a Woman of the Year and announces her name at the Annual Meeting of the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce.  The award is based on a woman?s volunteer service and her impact on the community; nominations are solicited from clubs, service organizations and the general public.

The winner's name is so closely guarded by our selection committee that even the recipient doesn't know she has won until the moment her name is revealed at the meeting.

Nominations can be made beginning January 1, 2018 and must be received by February 8, 2018.

Nominations must include:

Biographical information on the nominee;

A comprehensive account of volunteer activities (including time spans, organization(s), duties, awards, accomplishments);

A narrative of her impact on the community; and

Name, address and telephone number of nominator. 

**To provide additional help to the selection committee, please include as many letters of support as possible from those who know of your nominee's volunteer activities.
